At the ATSIS outing on November 2, 2024, the Association of Thai Students in Singapore came together to foster unity in our first onsite meeting. With a shared goal in mind, ATSIS aims to support any Thai individual interested in Singaporean education and promote Thai culture among both Thai and non-Thai communities in Singapore through various online and onsite activities. The well-planned agenda for this outing, credited to the “Event” department, reflected ATSIS’s focus on balancing formal organizational updates with fun team-building activities.
The day began with an engaging icebreaker session that helped the ATSIS team connect on a personal level. This activity broke down barriers and created a friendly environment, allowing members to discuss topics such as their experiences in Singapore and their thoughts on both the country and ATSIS. This session encouraged open conversations and fostered mutual understanding within the group.
Following the icebreaker, the General Meeting provided crucial updates on ATSIS’s ongoing efforts. Reports from all departments, including the Executive Committee, Event, Academics, Tech, and Public Relations, highlighted ATSIS’s dedication to supporting Thai students academically and professionally.
Toward the end of the activities, we had a photoshoot session that encouraged members to express themselves while showcasing their respective departments’ unique themes. This session celebrated individuality while reinforcing our unity as a community.
Overall, this outing was more than just an update on organizational activities—it strengthened ATSIS’s mission of creating a supportive and united community. Whether through onsite gatherings or online platforms, we are committed to fostering connections and celebrating Thai culture. Let’s continue to grow together! We welcome all of you to join us and stay tuned for our upcoming updates!🫰🏻
